He is incredibly social, affectionate, and happiest simply being close to his people—whether that’s curling up beside you or keeping you company throughout the day. Roo-Roo was born with a congenital condition that affects his legs—his front legs are shorter than his back legs, which gives him a unique, splayed way of walking. He may also have had a past injury that has since healed, though we can’t say for certain. What we do know is that he has adapted beautifully and doesn’t let his differences hold him back.<br/>He uses a large, low-entry litter box for bowel movements. Roo-Roo is incontinent of urine, which is easily managed by wearing a diaper—and he tolerates this very well.<br/><br/>He’s playful, curious, and full of character. While he can’t quite run like other cats, Roo-Roo has his own adorable version of the zoomies that will absolutely make you smile. He doesn’t let anything slow him down when it comes to enjoying life.<br/><br/>Roo-Roo loves other animals and has a special bond with a small Chihuahua in his foster home. He is also wonderful with children, making him a great fit for a loving, interactive household.<br/><br/>Roo-Roo is looking for a compassionate, understanding home that will embrace his special needs and love him for the incredible, joyful, and resilient cat he is.
