Your desire to provide a loving forever home to a rescued animal helps us in our shared goal to “Save a Life Today.” We are a completely volunteer-run, foster-based rescue, which means all of our animals live in home environments—not kennels—while they await adoption. This allows us to learn as much as possible about each pet’s personality, preferences, and needs so we can help make the best possible match for both the animal and the adopter. Our adoption process may take a little time, and you might notice we ask a lot of questions. That’s because we want to ensure a lasting and happy match for everyone involved. There are no “right” or “wrong” answers—these questions simply help us guide you toward the pet who will fit best with your family, lifestyle, and expectations. Many of the animals who come into our care have faced hardship, uncertainty, or even the risk of euthanasia. Our mission is to give them a second chance—and to place them in loving, responsible, lifelong homes where they can finally feel safe and secure.
