Meet Romeo & Vivian!

Romeo and Vivian are a match made in heaven! These two are 9-10 years old, both declawed, and both have sad back stories. Romeo was found frostbitten to the point he ended up losing his ears and tail and had such hyperextended ligaments/tendons in both of his front legs that he ended up needing arthrodesis surgery for each. Vivian had a life partner and wonderful owner both pass away within months of one another leaving her lonely and sad. Romeo came to us on February 14th, 2020 and had his last leg surgery in August 2020. Vivian came in shortly after his last surgery and cupid struck just as we had hoped! We are only adopting these two as a pair and are calling them special needs due to their weight issues and since Romeo needs a home where he will not have to climb stairs or travel a long distance as he will likely get arthritic with his leg plates in the future. Vivian also has some difficulty cleaning her back end due to her weight. Fortunately, without free feeding we have been able to shed a few lbs from Vivian and have been able to stabilize Romeo’s weight. Their future adopter will need to continue only small meals a few times daily. Vivian is around 19 lbs and Romeo is 21 lbs. These two lovebirds are so affectionate and would love a quiet home where they can make someone smile every day and be happy they have these companions.

Adoption includes spay/neuter, FIV/FeLV testing, and age appropriate vaccinations. The adoption fee is $200 for the pair.
