Meet Romeo!<br/><br/>Romeo rubbed against me and showed me his belly within an hour of coming home with me. This kitty is pure love in an adorable body. He seems so grateful for being rescued. He meows with little squeaks - it's magical! Romeo is pretty independent and can be left alone for hours but at the same time loves attention and affection. (While in a Zoom meeting, I literally pet Romeo for an hour straight and he just laid there with his belly up like he was in heaven.) He's a chill perfect gentleman: amazing eater, litter box trained, doesn't mind the vacuum, is vocal and loves to chirp/squeak, and loves his belly rubbed. He is honestly the perfect kitty with the sweetest soul and anyone who adopts him will be the luckiest human!<br/><br/>Currently in foster care in West Hollywood. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
