They spent years living in a colony cared for as best as possible by an elderly man. When he passed away, they suddenly found themselves without the only person who had ever cared for them and home they had ever known because the gouse was being bulldozed. Despite their rough beginning, both boys have shown that with patience, kindness, and a little time, they are capable of forming wonderful bonds with people.<br/>Meeko is the first to let his guard down. He settles into new surroundings fairly quickly and soon reveals himself to be an affectionate, attention-loving companion who happily leans into pets and enjoys spending time with his people.<br/>Roman prefers to take life at his own pace. New environments can be overwhelming for him, so he'll likely spend his first days tucked away somewhere safe while he adjusts. He has always been a more independent cat, but as trust grows, so does his appreciation for gentle affection.
