Roman's Story

Roman was the outside kitty of a lady who is having to re-home her cats due to dementia. Roman was used to being fed on her front porch. Since the lady has to go to assisted living, we took Roman in.

Roman does not like to be picked up, but he is a sweet boy who loves head rubs and chin tickles. He is a sensitive boy and just needs someone who understands that it frightens him to be picked up.

Roman does like to be petted, but he gets overstimulated and will let you know with a soft paw swat when he has had too much. For this reason, he could not be in a home with children.

Roman is friendly and does like cheek rubs and to have his face rubbed. He is also a talker and will talk to you.

Roman likes other cats. He was hanging around with another cat on the front porch of the former caregiver's home.

Roman is about 2-years-old. He is neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, tested negative for feline leukemia/FIV, treated preventatively for fleas/ticks, dewormed, and microchipped.

If you have a safe space where this sweet boy can land since he has lost his home, please email us at bandocats@gmail.com
