Roma

Roma is around 7 months old and is part of our Vineyard cat crew, a large group of semi-feral cats who came to us from the island. Roma is still a little shy around people, but each day she is becoming braver and more curious. While not quite ready for pets, if you offer her a slow, outstretched hand, she will lean in for a gentle sniff. This may be a small moment for us, but a big, heartwarming step forward for her. Roma likes it when you talk to her and will rub against nearby surfaces as her way of showing she is happy to have your company. She is full of playful energy and will give you a look that says, Come play with me!. Roma loves chasing toys, zooming through tunnels, and exploring her room. Along with play, she is food-motivated, so tasty treats and mealtime are another good way to bond with her.<br/><br/>A calm home with experienced adopters would be a purrfect fit for Roma. An adult-only home would be ideal for her, though she could do well with gentle older children who respect her boundaries. Roma loves to be around other cats, and "must have a feline friend in her future home to help boost her confidence and to zoom around with her in playful adventures. A bonus would be if she could share her new home with one of her Vineyard pals!
