Roland's Story

Meet Roland!

Roland is a sweet, sensitive soul who is still finding his footing. He came to us through a local rescue partner and is adjusting to life on his own timeline in a dedicated foster home, and with the right person in his corner, we truly believe he is going to flourish. Somewhere beneath that cautious exterior is a cat with so much love to give, and he is just waiting for the right home to bring it out of him.

Roland tends to keep to himself when feeling overwhelmed, but he's already showing small, encouraging signs of curiosity in his foster home. What Roland needs most is a quiet, peaceful home where the rhythm of daily life is gentle and predictable. A place where he can take his time settling in, explore on his own terms, and gradually discover the simple pleasures: a warm sunny windowsill, a cozy perch to survey his kingdom, the comfort of a calm and patient presence nearby. Given that space and consistency, we think Roland will slowly but surely reveal himself to be the affectionate, contented companion he was always meant to be. Roland just needs someone willing to meet him where he is and see if he could be your purrfect match!

Dogs: Roland has no known experience with dogs.
Cats: Roland seems curious about other cats, so a gentle feline housemate could help draw him out of his shell even further.
Children: Roland may thrive in a home with older children, teenagers and adults.

Visit our Adoption Center to meet your potential new best friend! Please visit the Adopt section of our website for details on the adoption process. We look forward to seeing you soon!
