Roderick Usher

Meet Roderick Usher, a member of the Edgar Allan Poe litter, rescued from a local animal shelter. There is something rather imposing about Roderick Usher. He is a big, handsome tabby boy with enormous feet, medium-long fur, magnificent ear tufts, and whiskers that seem almost too grand for his face. At first glance, he has the sort of distinguished, slightly mysterious appearance one might expect from a gentleman of the House of Usher. But spend a short few minutes with him and the mystery quickly disappears, Roderick is extremely sweet, loving, and cuddly. He's the kind of boy who wants to be close to his people, happily settling in for affection and companionship. Beneath all that impressive fluff and those giant paws is simply a big-hearted, gentle soul. He may have the name and the dramatic looks of Roderick Usher, but this Roderick has a much happier story waiting to be written—one with a loving family, a cozy home, and plenty of cuddles. This boy would do best in a home with a cat buddy, or, if you are looking for a pair of cats, he would be happy to live his new life with one of his siblings. His estimated birth date is May 21, 2026. Cats adopted from TMHPR are indoor only.
