I know, bold name--but right now, I'm more of a quiet soul just trying to figure things out.<br/><br/>I'm about two years old, with a soft black and white coat and the saddest little eyes you ever did see. I came from a home that had way too many cats and not enough space or socialization, so it's possible I never really saw the outside world until now. And, well... I'm scared. Like, full-on "hiding in the corner, Eeyore energy" scared.<br/><br/>This shelter? It's loud. It's unfamiliar. And I don't know what's safe yet. But underneath all this fear, the staff can already tell--I'm a gentle, sweet boy with a huge heart. I just need someone patient who sees the real me: the cat I'll become once I feel secure and loved.<br/><br/>I don't want to be brave. I just want to be safe. I want a quiet home, soft voices, slow blinks, and the kind of love that lets me come out of my shell on my own time. I promise, when I do? I'll be yours completely.<br/><br/>Please come meet me--even if I hide at first. I'm worth the wait.An adoption application can be filled out on the DHS website https://www.dekalbhumanesociety.org/adopt. Dog adoption fees are $250.00 for all puppies and adult dogs. Seniors are a donation of choice.<br/>Cats and kittens are minimum donation $50.00
