Rocky's Story
Rocky is a six-month-old who is looking for a soft place to land. Rocky came to us as an owner surrender, and for the first week, he was quiet and kept to himself, unsure of where he fit in. It took a little time for him to realize he was safe, but once that wall came down, his true personality blossomed into something truly special. He is a total love bug who doesn't just want your attention, he craves it.

The most endearing thing about Rocky is his "flop." The moment he sees you approaching, he naturally starts rolling around on his back, offering up his belly for rubs. Yes…you heard that right, he LIKES belly rubs! He is a genuine lap cat who loves to be close to his people, and he’s one of those rare kittens who actually enjoys being picked up and carried around like a little prince. Since he’s still quite young, he has plenty of kitten energy and loves to spend his afternoons playing and exploring.

When it comes to other pets, Rocky is a bit of a "big man on campus." He gets along well with other cats, but he has an alpha personality and likes to be the boss of the playgroup. He’d do best with another cat who is laid-back enough to let him lead, or perhaps as the sole focus of a loving home. Because of his assertive nature, he’d prefer a home with older kids who can keep up with his spunk.

Rocky just wants a family who will appreciate his big heart and give him the belly rubs he missed out on before.
