Rochester's Story
Rochester is currently available for adoption from Kitten Crossing Rescue by appointment only. Please text 916-205-8559 and an appointment will be arranged with his foster mom for a meeting.

Rochester is a quiet boy with coloring reminiscent of a Russian Blue. He and his three brothers came into foster care at 6 weeks of age when they were trapped along with some adult cats. They were just too cute to leave behind. He was never hissy, just incredibly frightened. Rochester was the smallest. It took several weeks for him to gradually develop trust and feel comfortable with people. He has come a long way but is still the most hesitant of the group. He is making progress each day.

Rochester loves to wrestle with his brothers, play with wand toys, and explore the house. He is not at all vocal, making it easy for him to sneak up on you. He enjoys being held for a limited amount of time, but this is increasing each day. He is beginning to come when called, especially when food is involved.

Rochester has been raised in a home with his three littermates, adult cats (some cranky ones), and adult humans. He has not been exposed to dogs or small humans. He would enjoy being adopted with one of his brothers. Rochester will probably do best in a moderately quiet home with older children and another young cat and will require some initial patience.

Microchipped.

If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting Rochester please complete the following application:

https://form.jotform.com/210726762218152

Or visit our website www.kittencrossingrescue.org to submit an application.

After you complete the application please TEXT Kitten Crossing Rescue 916-205-8559 with your name and the name of the kitten(s)/cat(s) you are interested in.
