Robin's Story
Robin and her siblings came to the City Pound as young kittens. Their mother was an outdoor "neighborhood" cat that was spayed and returned to her home. The kittens were too young to be fixed and we wanted them to have better lives indoors so they left the street life behind. During her time at the pound she has learned that people are good, especially if they have wet food. She is pretty social when she feels safe and will even solicit attention. She prefers to keep her feet on the ground but will tolerate being picked up briefly. Trimming her nails can be a challenge but easily accomplished with two people. She gets along well with other friendly cats. She has never been around loose dogs but could learn to co-exist with slow introductions. She recently went to a fundraiser and did really well with calmer, older children; she hid from the more rambunctious kids. Robin has a look of royalty and the personality of a queen, all she needs now is a castle.
