Roamin's Story
Roamin is so handsome, with beautiful fluffy fur, lovely green eyes, and the tip of one ear missing (probably due to frostbite). He has spent most (if not all) of his life outdoors and just loves being in the house. He’s a great roommate - clean, quiet, polite, and gets along well with others.

Roamin is a shy guy - he is still skeptical of human interaction, but making great progress with being around people and learning to accept pets, especially as he observes his social butterfly roommate Tim. He doesn’t meow, but makes adorable little squeaks when he’s excited for food or talking to his cat buddy. He has really started to thrive with a cat friend around and is getting braver and braver every day. He will need lots of time to get acclimated, and a safe hiding place where he and a large collection of catnip toys can settle until he’s ready to get out and about in the house. He loves his cat buddy and since he has grown up around other cats and will need a friendly cat in his new home to help him get out of his shell (may we suggest his foster buddy, Tim?). He hasn’t been around kids, but he gets scared with sudden movements (though this is improving) so probably not the best fit for young kids who may not understand that he needs some space for a while. We are not sure how he does with dogs.

Roamin is a work in progress but whoever give him time to adapt to his new home will have a wonderful treasure of a cat. We think he is about 2 years old. In Anchorage. Call 907 980-8898
