Roadrunner's Story

๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ‘ŸMeep Meep! ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ‘Ÿ

Did someone say churus?! Roadrunner is dashing his way to the adoption scene! Happily following you around meowing for pets, you'll never be lonely with this gentle boy around!

Roadrunner was found on the grassy side of the highway by one of our volunteers who thankfully scooped him up and brought this hungry and scared boy to safety. Since then, he's been living his best life happily bird watching from indoors, snacking on delicious treats, and playing with fake mice (much better than real ones!)

Roadrunner is looking for a home who can give him all the love and attention he's missed out on. He's a little slow to warm up at first, but once he settles in he is the sweetest boy who loves to be pet and picked up. He is FIV+, which simply means he's ready to spend all 10 lives happily indoors and loved.

Roadrunner is now accepting adoption applications, available below!

Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a cat-specific virus that cannot be passed onto dogs or humans. FIV is spread through deep bite wounds, typically seen on outdoor male cats who have not been neutered. It's rarely spread through grooming, sharing bowls, or litter boxes. FIV affects a cat's immune system, but most cats live long lives when they live indoors, receive routine veterinary care, have a stress-free home, and a good diet. To learn more about FIV, please visit the link below.

https://www.alleycat.org/resources/feline-immunodeficiency-virus-fiv/

______________________________

Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/

Please Note:

If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
