River-tc's Story

River came to us as a stray. She was found along the Skagit River. We are not sure her past, but we suspect she was a household cat, as she is incredibly loving and friendly when she is in a calm environment.

River has been in foster care for several months now, and has had sadly had no one step up for her. What we have come to learn about her is that she loves to be brushed and pet, and she exhibits hiding tendencies when the dog in her foster home is around. She comes right out of her shell when she is the only pet in the home, so we are searching for someone looking for a sweet companion in a no-dog household.

River is microchipped, and blood tested. She has received vaccinations and flea/parasite treatment. Her adoption fee is $175. If interested in meeting or adopting River, adoption applications are available at www.savingpetsoneatatime.org for a cat adoption form and her foster mom will reach out to you!
