RIVER gets his name from his calm and majestic manner. This big boy is quiet, respectful and sweet. He loves to take long naps on his cat tree and enjoys a good shoulder rub. Everyone loves RIVER for his calming nature. In a word, he is “zen”. <br/><br/>RIVER gets along well with other cats so he could be on his own or an addition to your kitty family. <br/><br/>Filling out an application does not guarantee adoption of a particular cat or kitten. We receive many applications for each listed cat, and we review them carefully to ensure a good fit. Of approvable applications, we give precedence to the earliest that we receive.<br/><br/>All of our cats and kittens are rescued, or surrendered to us by their previous owners, and now seek loving, permanent homes.<br/><br/>All of our cats are spayed/neutered, given age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV and FeLV, as well as given flea, heartworm, and ear mite prevention.<br/><br/>We do not DNA or allergy test our cats. We cannot guarantee the breed mix, as we are a rescue, not breeders.<br/><br/>Please note that we are a privately run rescue. We are not government funded and get very few donations.
