Ritz (& Fry)'s Story
Meet Ritz, a sweet adolescent boy, who’s still very much a kitten at heart. He’s full of energy and playfulness, and loves making the rounds of his home to observe what’s new since his last exploration! Give him an interactive toy and a willing playmate (you!), and he’ll never tire out.

He also loves playing with his brother Fry, and the pair spends a portion of each day, wrestling and chasing one another. They’re the best of friends; Fry and Ritz will often eat out of the same bowl without much fuss, and they’ll take their naps side by side in the same cat bed. Their foster parents say that the boys are sweet and a joy to have around, perfect for owners with energy and enthusiasm to play with Ritz often, and provide plenty of snuggles to Fry!

If you would like to learn more about Ritz and Fry, and arrange to meet them, please email info@chicagocatrescue.org for the quickest reply, or call 773/203-0215. No texts, please.

CCR adopts to forever homes in Chicago or the very near suburbs that are within 10 miles of our respective Chicago foster families. Most of our foster families reside on the north side of the city. We love our cats and we pledge support for the rest of their lives, which is why our location limits are in place. We appreciate your understanding. If you are outside of these limits, please check petfinder.com, which allows searching by zip code, for cats closer to your home.

At Chicago Cat Rescue, we are dedicated to both the physical and emotional well-being of the cats and kittens in our care. For this reason, unless expressly stated, we do not place cats or kittens in homes where they will be the only cat. In our experience, most cats love the company of other cats, and can become quite lonely when living alone.

Kittens will only be placed in pairs, or to join another kitten or young cat in your home.

Chicago Cat Rescue is an entirely foster based organization. Our ability to help more cats in need is dependent on our availability of foster homes. If you think you could provide a loving foster situation for a cat in need, or would like to learn more about our foster program, please email us, foster@chicagocatrescue.org. Thank you!
