1<br/>Sweet, gentle Risotto is a gorgeous girl looking for the perfect home! Found outdoors with several other cats, Risotto is shy and needs a patient, experienced cat owner to help bring her out of her shell. This good-natured, goofy girl is making progress every day, but she still needs patience to become the carefree, roly-poly cat we know she can be!<br/><br/>Risotto absolutely loves to play. Wand toys are her favorite and she loves to roll around on the floor, dart after them to show her goofy side (and her wonderfully fluffy belly) while playing with them. She also appreciates a treat, and will happily (if slowly) approach for Churu or Temptations any day. Cat beds are her favorite place to relax, and she loves to gaze out the window and chatter at the occasional pigeon.<br/><br/>We also suspect she's quite a mush. While she's still nervous around people, she follows her foster mom around the apartment and is the queen of meaningful eye contact and slow blinks. Being loved by Risotto is a true honor and she makes it known in her own shy way when she adores you. While she is sometimes a bit nervous about being pet, an extendible backscratcher makes her purr like a motorboat as she leans into it for chin scratches and uses her paws to direct it to where she'd like to be pet next.<br/><br/>This girl's shy demeanor, chonky physique, incredible fur patterns, round face and slightly walleyed expressions will work their way into your heart incredibly quick. Visitors to her foster mom’s house nearly always walk away declaring Risotto the favorite out of the numerous cats and kittens in residence. She enjoys the company of older cats with a proper introduction, or she can be adopted solo. More than anything, Risotto needs a loving, consistent home and a patient adopter able to put some work into bringing her out of her little shell.<br/><br/>Adorable Risotto was rescued behind a restaurant in Bed Stuy with many other kitties who were used to being fed by the kind women who do the cooking. She is so happy to be out of the cold and she's just waiting to find a loving home.<br/><br/>Risotto is about 2 years old.
