Rikki's Story

Update May 7th, 2026 - Rikki is now at the Pet Valu, 920 Upper Wentworth across from Limeridge Mall. Go pay this cutie a visit.
Please read Rikki's bio, requirements for adoption and if you think she would fit with your family please go to avacats.org and fill out an online application form. An adoption co ordinator will be in touch.
Rikki came in to our rescue back in April - from HAS. Her stray time was up . She had received a flea treatment, deworming, FVCRP vaccines and rabies and went to her foster home for a couple of weeks to fatten up before her spay. She has now been spayed and microchipped and ready to find her new home. Her adoption fee is $250. She is a very sweet, playful kitty who is NOT a fan of other cats so would be perfect as the only cat. She hasn't been dog tested. She likes to be brushed and will sit by you on the couch. AVA has an indoor and no declaw policy.
