Rigatoni's Story

Meet Miss Rigatoni, a 5-month-old domestic shorthair with one of the most unique and beautiful coat patterns you’ll ever see. This little noodle was found in a dilapidated, abandoned house and came to us timid and unsure of the world. But with time, patience, and a safe place to land, she’s slowly begun to blossom into her very best self.

Rigatoni is still a bit of a shy girl, preferring to approach new people on her own terms. She has an endearing way of “testing” her humans—she’ll ask for just a few gentle pets, stroll away to think about it, and then come back once she’s decided you’ve passed. Earn her trust, and you’ve gained a sweet, quiet companion who will continue to seek you out for affection.

Playtime is still a new concept for her; we suspect she never had the chance to learn what toys or playmates were. But she is a kitten, and we’re confident that once she figures out the joy of playing, she’ll embrace it wholeheartedly.

Rigatoni gets along well with other cats, respectful dogs, and gentle kids who understand that she needs a little space to feel safe. She’s litter-box trained, quiet, and would thrive in a patient, loving home willing to let her blossom at her own pace.

If you’re looking for a sweet, sensitive kitten with a heart as lovely as her markings, Rigatoni may be your perfect match.

If you’re interested in adopting, please fill out our application, and someone will be in touch with you shortly!
https://animalwelfarefriends.org/adopt/application/
