Handsome RICKMAN was brought in as a stray. He seems to be amical fellow who tries to put his best paw forward. At nearly 10lbs, it is unlikely this boy was a stray for long. He was not, however, neutered, so he may have been on a walkabout, searching for "love in all the wrong places" His wandering days are now over, and he is looking for a loving home.<br/><br/>His rescuer says he didn't appear to be afraid of dogs. He is getting along with other shelter cats, but is very selective and can be aggressive if he feels threatened. Children should be old enough to understand and use soft touch, and no squeezing hugs. And if they do pick him up, let him down when he starts to struggle. Large cats often do not like to be picked up and draped over an arm. It is not a comfortable position and may restrict their breathing. Plus, no cat likes to feel trapped and will struggle to get away.<br/><br/>At 6 years, RICKMAN is still curious about everything going on and is probably going to enjoy short playtimes and some zoomies. But mostly sitting in a comfy spot and enjoying pets and being brushed. <br/><br/>RICKMAN is a very nice fellow who lost his way.
