Rickets & Scurvy's Story

Meet Rickets and Scurvy, two 4-month-old brothers who prove that sometimes the best medicine comes in pairs!

These two have very different personalities, but they make a pretty perfect team. Rickets is the outgoing lovebug who has never met a stranger—or a personal boundary he couldn't completely ignore. This boy adores attention and will happily rub, nuzzle, and even lick all over your face to make sure you understand just how much he loves you. Personal space? Rickets has never heard of it.

Scurvy, on the other hand, is a boy who takes his playtime very seriously. He's playful and loves a good wrestling match, but he does not appreciate having his fun interrupted. If you decide to interfere with his activities before he's ready, he may let you know with a hiss or little nip. He's looking for humans who understand his boundaries and can give him space when he's busy doing important kitten business.

Like the rest of their littermates—Typhoid, Bubonic Plague, Small Pox, and Tuberculosis—these boys love to wrestle and play. The boys tend to take their wrestling particularly seriously, while Small Pox and Tuberculosis prefer a gentler approach to kitten combat.

Rickets and Scurvy must be adopted together and would do best in a home with adults or older children who can understand and respect Scurvy's boundaries. They're looking for a family that will appreciate their individual personalities and give them the right environment to thrive.

One has no concept of personal space. The other has very specific opinions about it. Together, they're the perfect prescription.

Please be sure to read a cat's full bio before applying! We do our best to keep bios updated as we learn more about each cat or as circumstances change.
