Richard's Story

Hi, I'm Richard!

I used to be a stray, but I made sure that didn't last long. When the rescue team found me in 2025, I kept jumping into their van like, "Hey... I'm coming with you." They didn't really have a choice.

I did have an eye infection back then, but I'm all healed now. One of my eyes is still a little cloudy, but it doesn't bother me at all and I don't need any treatment. It just gives me a bit of a signature look.

I'll be honest though... the shelter can make me a little shy. It's a lot of noise and new things, so I might take a minute to warm up. But once I feel safe, I'm that same super friendly, people-loving guy who hopped into the van without a second thought.

If you give me a little patience, I'll show you exactly who I really am, and I promise, I'm worth it. Adopt me today!
