Rice

Meet Rice! 🐾

The other part of the dynamic duo of Rice and Beans. this dapper grey gentleman enjoys cuddles, laser pointers, and lots of yummy treats. Outgoing, energetic and playful, Rice will keep you on your toes with his silly antics and love for toys.

Rice is looking for a home with room to zoom and safe things to play with. He's a chewer of string and feather toys, and although he insists he won't do it again we've decided to keep those out of range for this boy. He takes playtime very seriously, so a little cat savviness will go a long way in ensuring no toys or fingers are harmed in the making.

Rice gets along with other cats and would like to mention his friend Beans is also available for adoption, but they do not necessarily have to go home together. He is a bit shy to warm up, but once he does there's no stopping this little silver fox!

Rice is excited for his next chapter filled love, playtime and snacks. If you think you could be his match, please fill out an application day!

___________________________

Please complete an adoption application if you are interested in adopting from Ten Lives! Apply here: https://tenlivescatrescue.org/adoptionapp/

Please Note:

If the cat or kitten is no longer listed in the drop-down menu of the application then they are no longer available for adoption and we are not accepting applications. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed.

About Ten Lives:

Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat.

Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience!

All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
