Rhubarb's Story
*** Rex & Rhubarb are in our PetSmart Aero adoption center. ***

Rex #19963: solid black, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 8/25/25
Rhubarb #19964: orange tabby, short hair, neutered male, born approx. 8/25/25

Cats: must have playmate — best together!
Dogs: haven’t met
Children: elementary+

BACKGROUND: Rex and Rhubarb were born to a pregnant stray in Los Angeles and taken in by a Good Samaritan until they were weaned; networking then connected them to The Rescue House.

PERSONALITY: Rex and Rhubarb are both incredibly playful and social sweethearts who have been socialized around humans since birth.
---Rex is a fearless and confident kitten ready to warm your heart. He's very comfortable being the center of attention, even around new faces. He loves being near you, especially in the kitchen if it means there's potential for food! Watch out because Rex may be stepping on your feet and twining around your ankles. This explorer also needs careful watching because his curiosity can lead him into cabinets as well as the dishwasher (don’t shut him in!). When he's tuckered out from exploring, it won't be long before Rex cozies up on your lap.
---Rhubarb is a little bit more reserved than his brother, but as soon as he warms up he'll show you his playful, affectionate side. Rhubarb is a purring machine: as soon as you look at him he starts purring away. He and Rex love to wrestle all day long, and love chasing after their favorite wand toys. Whether it's you or another cat, Rhubarb is an absolute cuddlebug that loves to sleep away the afternoon... whether you're carrying him in your arms or he's curled up in your lap. Of the two, Rhubarb has the most energy but is less of a rascal at the same time.

COMPATIBILITY: Each must have a welcoming feline playmate; they love each other and would be thrilled to stay together! While they haven’t met dogs or children yet, they are very gentle and would likely do well so long as they are properly introduced and handled respectfully.

Rex and Rhubarb are a delight! Will they bring their considerable charm to your home?
