Reya's Story

Meet Reya! This sassy, cuddly little girl has been working on her summer body and is ready to finally meet her new family!!! After spending most of her life living outside and eating mostly human food, she was attacked by a dog and is now healing from a minor surgery! You would think this would make her fearful of other animals, but quite the contrary! Reya prefers to be in the middle of all the action! Her current foster runs a pet sitting company so she is surrounded by dogs of all sizes all day and loves to hang out and meow at them all day! It was a tricky transition at first getting her to eat cat food for the first time, but she has finally given into her new cushy life! Reya is going to be a great addition to any family as long as you are ready to shower her with affection and attention! Her only stipulation: she will be the queen of the house! Reya can't wait to meet you!

Pause4Change's Adoption Policy
Due to integration issues, there are some pets with incorrect statues or are missing from Petfinder. Please visit our website for the most up to date information. We first do an online application through our website, then if we think the application aligns with our mission we do a phone screening, from here if they still seem like a good fit we do an initial meet and greet with the foster home, if that goes well the animal then goes for a home visit for the day where the foster home gets to go see the house and make sure there are no concerns. From there the adoption will proceed. If the dog / cat is not spayed yet they will go into foster to adopt until the surgery is performed.
