Reeses's Story

Meet Reese’s, our beautiful 1–2-year-old calico and the longest-standing resident at Winter’s Grace Animal Rescue.

Reese’s found her way into a young lady’s home just before giving birth. That kind person kept her safe, and she welcomed a beautiful baby girl with unique calico markings just like her mama.

During her time with our rescue, Reese’s became a foster mama to several orphaned kittens. She welcomed them as her own and gave them the love and care they needed. Once her daughter and the other babies were grown and weaned, she retired from motherhood. It was finally her turn to become someone’s beloved pet.

But Reese’s is still waiting.

This gorgeous girl has a sweet side—and a little spice! She is not a fan of dogs, and she has limits on how much petting she enjoys. She needs a dog-free home with someone who understands her boundaries and lets her choose when she wants affection.

Reese’s wants love on her own terms, a safe place to settle, and someone who appreciates her just as she is. After caring for so many babies, she deserves a family of her own.

Please consider sponsoring, fostering, or adopting her through the holiday season or beyond! Foster and adoption applications are available online, and you can sponsor Reese’s by donating through any of our donation links. Please put “Reese’s” in the note so we know your gift is for her!
