Red's Story
This sweet boy is looking for a peaceful home and someone with plenty of time to spend with him. According to his previous family, he’s litter trained and did well with children ages 9–11. He doesn’t like dogs, and his experience with other cats is unknown.

New people and loud noises can be intimidating, so he may hide when visitors arrive and need a day or two to feel comfortable. A patient family who lets him settle in at his own pace will help him feel secure.

Once comfortable, he likes to be right where his people are—sometimes directly in their walking path! His future family should be mindful of him underfoot. He also enjoys chasing a laser pointer, especially with a toy he can catch at the end of the game.

He has scratched flooring near closed doors and pulled items from shelves and tables, so he’ll benefit from a thoughtfully arranged space, regular play, and plenty of appropriate scratching options.

Have a quiet corner and room in your day for a feline companion? This boy would love the chance to get to know you.
