Rebel's Story
Rebel was found at the end of April, in the same park where Honor, Newman, and Nedry came from. Apparently, that park is becoming a hot spot for people to dump kitties they no longer want. The weirdest part is, every cat that we've taken in from that area have been such sweet, soft-spoken, and gentle cats. So the mystery remains....why are they being dumped?

The only answer we can fathom is that these kitties are being adopted as tiny kittens, probably as gifts, and as soon as the kittens are old enough to need to be fixed and vaccinated, they "aren't worth the hassle" of paying to have those things done, or once they grow out of the "teeny tiny" stage, whoever received them as gifts lose interest. It's sad, but if that's the case, these cats and kittens are better off with us than they were with them!

We don't know if Rebel and Honor are sisters or not. They look alike, so we wouldn't be surprised. But they don't seem to be bonded. So if they are, it doesn't make a difference.

Rebel was pulled out from some bushes she was hiding in, probably trying to stay clear of the other cats that live in the outdoor colony where she was dropped. She has been described as a "Velcro" cat that really wants to be near you, as often as possible. She is affectionate and grateful and she wants to give all of the love inside her to you. get ready for headbutts, purrs, and never having a cold lap ever again!

We estimate rebel at being between 1 and 2 years old. She gets along with friendly cats, and is always excited to have more people, men, women, kids...it doesn't matter! The more people around, the more attention she gets, and that's just how she likes it!
