Rayven's Story

Rayven is a sweet girl who was originally adopted from us as a kitten in 2020. Sadly, her human mother passed away, and Rayven's entire world was turned upside down. Understandably, she is grieving and shy right now. Rayven needs an empathetic adopter who understands that trust is earned, not demanded, and who is willing to give her the time she needs to feel safe again. Once you hear her indescribable squeaks, you'll know she's introducing herself fully. If you can be her safe harbor, you will get to see just how wonderful she is. Once Rayven opens up, she is an affectionate, and playful girl. New situations and loud noises can still startle her, and she likes to retreat to the safety of cabinets or under blankets. In fact, her dream home includes sharing a bed with you, buried happily under the covers. While she prefers to keep all four paws on the ground (no lifting, please!), she loves to initiate affection and will hop right up to cuddle on her own terms. Rayven has a lot of love to give, but she wants it all to go to you so she needs a home where she can be the only cat. In the past, Rayven had a small dog for a roommate but our foster family that she is with now does not know exactly how she tolerates dogs.
