Meet Rayleigh! Rayleigh was saved by a Fishtails foster, who had been feeding her outside for a few days. They didn’t know momma Rayleigh was pregnant until they brought her in and could tell she recently gave birth. They immediately went back outside and searched the neighborhood for her kittens. Luckily, they found all five kittens, and they were reunited with their momma. Now, everyone is ready to find their forever homes! From her foster - "Meet mama Rayleigh! She is a QUEEN, she would love to be the only cat in the house and be fed with treats and snacks. If you satisfy her cravings, she will reward you with the utmost love and affection. She is still learning, but has made tremendous progress at being a lap cat. She has begun to plop and expose her belly for rubs, and with the right person she will be the most loving cat despite her angry face. If you want a guardian who will be there for you daily, Rayleigh is the one for you!” Rayleigh is only accepting adoption applications to a pet free home, as she has made it clear she would like to be the one and only. Fishtails Animal Rescue's Adoption Policy

Fishtails Animal Rescue strives to provide you with a healthy pet. However, the stress of changing environments can lower an animal’s immunity to fight disease and the pet could harbor an infection without displaying symptoms. We cannot guarantee the health of any animal. Any pet adopted out by Fishtails Animal Rescue will be up-to-date on vaccines (unless medically contraindicated), microchipped, spayed/neutered (if age appropriate*), and given a dose of flea/heartworm preventative. The microchip must be registered by the adopter to their new information. *If the animal is not spayed/neutered at time of adoption, the adopter will do so within 2 months after the animal reaches 6 months of age. In addition, if pet is under 16 weeks at the time of adoption, adopter is responsible for boosters for vaccines. Fishtails Animal Rescues is located in Philadelphia, PA and accepts applications within the tri-state area. The first step in our adoption process is to complete the adoption application found on our website. Applications are reviewed within 72 hours of submissions.
