Ray Charles - A KIND GENTLE SOUL WITH PARTIAL BLINDNESS

This little boy was found outside extremely emaciated, riddled with fleas, and blind! A friend of the rescue, got a hold of him and kept him for a couple days until we could secure him. He had an ER trip because we were concerned about an injury to his neck, which showed that he was just severely dehydrated and malnourished. He then came to stay at the vet where our director works, while he was nursed back to health, neutered, vaccinated and bloodwork was completed. <br/><br/>Add in high calorie food, shelter and love, he truly showed us his good nature. We are so amazed at this young fellow and how he survived outside without his vision; it is actually a miracle!<br/><br/>We did another vision test on Ray this week (9.24.26) and he does have some vision in his eyes, maybe 25%.<br/><br/>Ray is now in a foster home where he will learn to navigate the world with cats and dogs and hopefully show us what kind of home would be best for him. <br/><br/>If you have room in your heart and home for this sweet little boy please let us know.
