Ravenna's Story

Meet Ravenna 34373, she is a longhaired spayed female cat that is 9 years old. She is a sweet friendly cat that loves to cuddle and spend the days napping in her favorite bed. She loves treats and head scratches, but most of all she would love a new home!

When the medical staff repaired a hernia for Ravenna, they also completed some bloodwork. What that revealed is that Ravenna has mild kidney disease.

Stage 2 chronic kidney disease (CKD) in cats means there is mild to moderate loss of kidney function, but many cats still feel relatively normal and can live comfortably for years with treatment and monitoring. She will need regular follow up care with her primary care veterinarian to monitor the progression of her kidney's, but otherwise she is low maintenance!

She can be a picky eater, but she prefers smaller bites of crunchy food to keep her happy.
