RavenMaw's Story

Unless otherwise stated, all our kitties are strictly and contractually to be kept INDOOR ONLY.

RavenMaw is a product of a hoarding situation that was out in Aberdeen. She is very shy due to being mistreated and will require a VERY patient adopter. She had her most recent litter just three weeks before we were called in. Out of those she birthed, only three survived the conditions.

When kitties like RavenMaw arrive here, it's our job to break down those barriers and start building a relationship of trust. Sometimes we're only as successful that they are friendly, but sometimes they may still be shy, but non-aggressive, until their Forever Parents take over working with them.

NOTE: RavenMaw tested positive for Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV). All this means now is that extra protection should be taken in keeping her indoors, and she would do best as the only fur-baby of the house, or adopted with one of her daughters, which we also have.

To meet any of our kitties, an Adoption application is required prior to making an appointment. You can download our Adoption Inquiry Application at https://CriticalCareKittenCoalition.org, then scroll down to Match-Making Application

NOTE: There's a nonrefundable $30 per person ($50 for two or more) "meet" fee, which will be deducted from the adoption fee/s if there's a match. This fee is not negotiable and due only if a meet-appointment is offered. The amount is to help our rescue while discouraging those just wanting to just come and play with kitties. (If you are just wanting to play with the kitties, you are welcome to complete our volunteer application, also found on our website)

Adoption Fee: $80

Critical Care Kitten Coalition's Adoption Policy
We require our Match-Making application to be completed and submitted to the email address listed on the application. If we only receive the PetFinder interest info, we will respond requesting our application. Because our emails tend to be routed to the Spam folder, we depend on potential clients having their phone number listed in PetFinder. Otherwise, we scrap the interest card after 3 weeks. We have a five-stage adoption process: Stage 1: We must receive our adoption application, completed in full and signed Stage 2: If all looks good, a phone interview will be conducted where we will get to know each other a bit more and we might establish an appointment Stage 3: Pay a nonrefundable fee to meet the kitties. It's $30 for one person, $50 for two or more. This fee is paid through our website under Save A Kitten. If there's a match, the Meet and Greet fee will be deducted from the adoption fee (Note: Do not pay this until after the phone interview). Stage 4: Once payment is received, you will receive a text with our address as confirmation of the appointment, and Stage 5: Meeting the adoptable kitties. (Questions are strongly encouraged, but because who you come here for may not be who you adopt, please wait to ask questions until you are here)
