Unfortunately, the environment wasn't right for her. Time and time again, Raven found herself caught in rodent traps, and Animal Services was repeatedly called to rescue her. After several incidents, we spoke with her owners, who compassionately agreed that Raven deserved a different life and lovingly surrendered her into our care.<br/><br/>The scars on Raven's sweet face tell part of her story. She even suffered a broken tooth that required dental surgery. But while she was healing, something truly wonderful happened.<br/><br/>Raven met another shelter cat, Kimchi, who showed her that people aren't so scary after all. With the patience of one of our incredible volunteers, Raven slowly began to trust. Today, we see a completely different cat—relaxing by the window, exploring her surroundings, and quietly enjoying the comforts of indoor life.<br/><br/>Now it's Raven's turn to find the home she's always deserved.<br/><br/>Raven is looking for a calm, quiet home with a friendly resident cat who can continue to help build her confidence. She'll need a patient family willing to let her settle in at her own pace, but we know that once she feels safe, she'll reward you with her quiet companionship.<br/><br/>Raven has been spayed, microchipped, dewormed, flea-treated, tested negative on her SNAP test, and has had a full dental, bloodwork, and urinalysis—all with excellent results.<br/><br/>Raven's adoption fee is $225 plus tax.<br/><br/>If you think you could be the happy ending Raven has been waiting for, we'd love to hear from you!
