Ratthi and Mensah's Story

Please read through the entire posting and requirements before applying via our questionnaire at alleycatproject.org/adopt
Please do not submit an inquiry via Petfinder.

Meet Ratthi and Mensah, a bonded pair of kitten siblings! They are approximately 3 months old.

Mensahs short fur has a tuxedo pattern with socks. Her tails sometimes seems longer than her whole body. She also has rare spotted toe-beans! She loves to run, purr, and sit in laps. If the game involves running, Mensah will always jump in. She doesnt meow often, but when she does, its a deep baritone, taking up more presence than she does.

Ratthi has velvety soft fur and has a harlequin or cow cat pattern, almost like he was a white cat who had his extremities dipped in grey paint, even his elbows (do cats have elbows?). You will hear his squeaky meow if you ever happen to close a door and he is on the other side. Ratthi is always ready for a wrestling match or game of tag with his siblings. He also loves sitting in laps and will often be the first one to find a lap while the others are still playing. He has an unusual nature of deliberately rotating around the laps of everyone in the room. He is not looking for his favorite; he seems to simply love all laps equally.

Like many young kittens, they both experienced an upper respiratory infection when they were taken into foster care and received veterinary treatment. Even though they are doing well, they may occasionally show symptoms such as sneezing, watery eyes, or mild congestion in the future.

These kittens are exceptionally well-socialized, affectionate, and confident. They enjoy human interaction, seek out attention, are comfortable being handled, and adapt well to new people and environments.

What Ratthi and Mensah are looking for in a home:

- They have lots of kitten energy and will benefit from plenty of active play time.
- They need to live indoors only.
- They have a positive history with other cats and may like having a feline friend close to their age.
- They have no known history with children.

All Alley Cat Projects cats are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and vaccinated prior to adoption.

Alley Cat Project adoption fees are:

- $200 per cat or kitten
- $350 for pair of cats or kittens
- $50 for senior cat (over 8 years old)
- Flexible reduced fees for a cat with a chronic medical condition that requires ongoing care
- Additional charitable donations are appreciated and support our overall rescue efforts

Thank you for your interest in Ratthi and Mensah! If your household fits the above criteria, you can apply to adopt them by filling out this questionnaire: alleycatproject.org/adopt

Only applicants who complete the questionnaire will be considered. Please do not submit an inquiry through Petfinder, as it will not replace the questionnaire and we will not respond. Many of our cats receive numerous applications, and we thank you for your patience while we review applications and find the best match. Local Seattle applicants only, please.

Please do not follow up on your application by phone or email as this will not expedite a response.
