What is Second Chance Rescue’s adoption process?

We usually begin with a phone call and introductions to answer questions and ensure that the pet is a good match for your family. After the phone conversation, we'll get you an adoption application. We do not have a public facility. After your application is approved you would be invited to visit the pet at one of our foster homes. A home visit is usually done to deliver the pet and complete the adoption contract.

What is Rascal’s adoption fee?

Is Rascal good with kids?

Rascal is good with kids under the age of 5 and kids over the age of 5.

Is Rascal good with other animals?

Rascal is good with other cats. It is not known if Rascal is good with dogs.

When can I meet Rascal?

As soon as the adoption organization has a chance to review your information, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.

When can I adopt Rascal?

Time to adopt varies, but typically adoption organizations require an official application prior to adoption. If you’re a match, they’ll reach out with next steps and timing.
