Ranger's Story
Ranger: the most gorgeous of the litter coming out of his shell

Ranger's story: I was living in a box in shed until one day the residents found us and contacted Fitchburg Friends of Felines for help.

I was scooped up with my mom and siblings, and the rest is ancient history.

I am now living the life in a sun filled room with a ton of toys, that I absolutely love, and play, eat, and nap all day!

I love climbing on the tunnel in the room. There is a cat tower that is my mountain I love to conquer. Also, there is a shoestring that is rather amusing but not like my sister, Echo, and her passion for that thing. Simple minds... I don't judge.

As for toys, I prefer the wand toys when humans play with me. The self-powered balls I am supposed to bat around, no thanks. I love playing with my siblings as well.

I am definitely coming out of my shell, but my foster mom says I am her favorite and have grown on her. I am adorable.

I am the escape artist of the group. I have a beautiful room to hang in, but I am the explorer. So, I try to sneak out whenever I can. Unfortunately, I am not successful.

As far as humans handling me, I am great when it comes to playtime, but as far as being cuddled... I am rather squirmy and would rather not. But I am starting to appreciate pets from my humans, and am getting to like them.

My ideal home would be with an active family that is cat savvy and understand that I am a kitten, and I am born to terrorize the neighborhood. I need toys and humans and stuff to climb on, like a cat tree or furniture. Cat trees may save your furniture. I would be great either with another young cat in the household, or I need to take one of my siblings with me so we can keep each other preoccupied.

Fitchburg Friends of Felines facilitates a foster to adopt program that places the intended adoptee with the potential adoptive family. This ensures that your feline companion is the perfect fit as well as provides support as you both transition into your new life together.

You can fill out an adoption application here:

https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe1685w60NjfU2eeE55Cd57TAaEZU7bERjyY825EMto48sTQw/viewform

Please reach out to Fitchburg Friends of Felines directly at 978-222-3170 or fitchburgfriendsoffelines@gmail.com with questions.
