Ramsey's Story
Meet Ramsey: The Ultimate Companion!
If you've been looking for a feline friend who takes the "companion" part of the relationship seriously, look no further. Three-year-old Ramsey was found as a stray, but it turns out he is an absolute people-person who is actively looking for his emotional support hooman. This handsome brown tabby has decided that life on the streets was far too lonely, and he is making up for lost time by becoming the ultimate lap cat. In fact, Ramsey is a unique guy who should not be confined to a single "safe room" when he first arrives at his furever home; being tucked away stresses him out because all he wants is to be right by your side from day one. Ramsey is a sensitive, expressive soul who can be very vocal, especially when he is adjusting to a new environment or feeling a bit unsure. Fortunately, the cure is simple: being near a human is incredibly calming for him, and a cozy lap will settle him right down. While he seems perfectly fine with other cats and would likely do well with a cat-friendly dog, he isn't exactly looking for a furry best friend. He is looking for you. Ramsey is quite needy for attention and will require a lot of his new family's focus, which means he would be a tough match for a household that already has other high-maintenance or needy pets. He simply needs a home where he can be the star of the show and receive the ample bandwidth he deserves. Because Ramsey craves connection so deeply, he requires a home where someone is around most of the time--making him the perfect assistant for a remote worker or someone who is retired. If there are children in the household, we recommend them being ages 8 and older so they can understand his vocal nature and respect his need for stability. If you have an empty lap, a heart full of love, and plenty of time to dedicate to a devoted new best friend, Ramsey is ready to move in and start his new life as your shadow! His adoption fee is $225.

*To visit our cats, you must make an appointment on-line at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.*

Note: While we are happy to respond to your questions about any of our cats, you will still be required to make an on-line appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt if you wish to meet our cats. Once you have a confirmed appointment, you can monitor the adoption appointment calendar and move your appointment to an earlier opening should one become available. We are not able to contact you to switch your appointment.

Stay up-to-date with all events and happenings at Caring for Cats!
