Raj's Story

Raj is a 9 year-old girl, black and white and quite a bit overweight. She was surrendered together with another cat, Wyatt, when their owner became unable to care for them. They like each other and would like to find a home together. Raj was a feral cat for the first year and a half of her life and is still very shy. She needs time to come out of her shell, but once she relaxes, she is super loving and affectionate. She may run away when you try to approach her but will come to you on her own terms to soak up love and pets. Raj has been fine with other cats at the shelter but has never been around children or dogs. She will need a quiet, patient home without young children (respectful, older children would probably be fine). She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped, and her adoption fee is $200. Raj is waiting for you to meet her at the Pet Valu store on Paisley Road in Guelph. Contact us at 519-836-9780 (Monday-Friday 8am-1pm only) or by email at NHARescueguelph@gmail.com to find out how to adopt her!
