Radish's Story

On May 17, 2026 a badly injured kitten was brought to Northwood Animal Hospital on emergency. He had been found near the TSC campus on Appleyard Drive. We suspect he was hit by a car.

He presented quite neurologically altered with some evidence of head trauma. Treatment was started for brain injury. With treatment, he gradually improved and started doing normal young kitten things. You could never tell now how injured he was.

We named him Radish. His estimated2 DOB is March 22, 2026.

Radish is now ready for a forever home. He has been neutered. He had a congenital defect where one of his testicles never descended out of his abdomen so his neuter was more complicated than a typical cat neuter would be. But this will not affect him in the long run. He is progressing through his kitten vaccines and had been microchipped.

Name: Radish
Gender: Male/Neutered
Birthday: 3/22/26
Current Location: Northwood Animal Hospital
Minimum Adoption Donation: $100

He presented quite neurologically altered with some evidence of head trauma. Treatment was started for brain injury. With treatment, he gradually improved and started doing normal young kitten things. You could never tell now how injured he was.

We named him Radish. His estimated2 DOB is March 22, 2026.

Radish is now ready for a forever home. He has been neutered. He had a congenital defect where one of his testicles never descended out of his abdomen so his neuter was more complicated than a typical cat neuter would be. But this will not affect him in the long run. He is progressing through his kitten vaccines and had been microchipped.
