Quintin B. Squintin's Story

Hi, my name is Quintin B. Squintin! I'm a GREEN pawprint, which means I will fit in well to any home. Here is what would work best for me in my new home:

-Personality: Quintin B. Squintin is a very friendly cat that wants endless pets and affection. He is looking for a lap to call his forever home!
-Can Live with Cats: Unknown history. Hasn't had any issues being housed near other cats in the shelter so may be ok with another cat after a very slow supervised introduction
-Can Live with Dogs: Unknown history. May be ok with cat-savvy dogs. Would need a very slow supervised introduction. Final decision up to counselor.
-Can Live with Kids: Should be OK with kids of any age.
-Needs Indoor Only Home: May be ok with outside access but only once he is comfortable in his new home. Talk to counselor for more details on safely letting cats have outdoor time.
-History of Litter Box Issues: No issues since being here at the shelter.
-Energy Level: low/medium. He would rather get pets than run around.
-Bite History: None
-Needs Medical Procedure Before Going Home: Nope! Other than needing his ears cleaned, Quintin is good to go home!

Meet Quintin B. Squintin!! Quintin B. Squintin got his name from the adorable little squinty face that makes him so hard to resist! This confident, affectionate boy is all about the lovins. Give him some pets, and he’ll reward you with a loud, happy purr. Sometimes, he’ll even meow to let you know he’s ready for more pets and scritches! Quintin takes his job as a lap cat very seriously. He’ll confidently hop right into anyone’s lap to soak up all the affection he can get. He’s also a curious little explorer who eagerly checks out new rooms, always hopeful that a new space means a new friend to shower him with attention. Although Quintin’s history is unknown, his confident and affectionate nature makes him seem like he could be a wonderful companion for children of any age. He may also do well with other cats or even dogs, as long as there is a proper introduction that is slow, careful, and supervised.

If you’re looking for a loving, outgoing kitty who will happily seek you out for cuddles, scritches, and plenty of purrs, Quintin B. Squintin might just be your perfect match!

If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website (www.whatcomhumane.org/adopt) or in person at our facility. We recommend calling into the shelter after your application has been submitted so our front desk can give you next steps on our adoption process.
