Quinoa's Story

Quinoa is an 11-year-old beautiful gray girl who is very mellow, gentle, calm, and sweet. She is a little shy when meeting new people and usually hides when someone comes to the house. Once she feels comfortable, she slowly comes out and warms up.

She loves being around her people. One of her favorite things is sitting on the sofa with us and watching TV. It doesn’t matter what we are watching—she will happily sit there and keep you company. She also loves sitting beside you or on your lap while you relax.

Quinoa has a very special way of showing affection. If you are stressed or unhappy, she will come over and gently put her paw on you, almost as if she is trying to comfort you. She is also very funny. If everyone leaves the house and only one person is home, she will walk around asking where everyone went in her own little language. She has such a sweet personality once she feels safe.

LOCATION: Foster Home but will soon be at the Aliso Viejo Petsmart

Visit http://greatpets.org/cat-adoption-application for an online application

Quinoa's $175 adoption fee includes her vet exam while in our care, felv/fiv test, fecal, spay surgery, senior bloodwork, microchip, flea treatment, and current vaccinations (age appropriate).

New Beginnings For Animals's Adoption Policy
Complete and submit the REQUIRED online adoption application first. If your application is approved you will be contacted soon to discuss your application and the pet you are interested in adopting in more detail. If the dog or cat seems like a good fit for your lifestyle and household, a meet-and-greet is arranged (including any other household pets and ALL family members). If there’s a love connection, we move on to the home check/official adoption with contract and medical records provided. Completing an application does not guarantee that you will be approved to adopt the animal applied for. If there is more than one application it is the policy of New Beginnings for Animals to match the applicant that is the best fit for the animal. We do not adopt on a first come, first serve basis. We strive to place each animal in a home that is best suited to their needs and the owner's expectations. We do not adopt outside of California.
