Queenie - CHOW HOUND - ADOPTION PENDING

Meet Queenie, a beautiful young Torti who came to use after being rescued from a mobile home park. Her 3 kittens were being attacked by raccoons and Queenie was trying so hard to fight them off. Thankfully a kind person saw what was happening and stepped in to save them! <br/><br/>Before coming to us, Queenie initially went through a TNR (trap neuter return) program so her left ear was tipped - but she was so friendly there was no way she was going to be released back outside!<br/><br/>Queenie was named by two of our volunteers who immediately saw how beautiful she is and how regally she carries herself! She LOVES people and kids and will sit on your lap, rub against your legs, and even go belly-up for pets (see that cute shaved tummy)! She is starting to relax and play a bit more, which we expect to increase as she settles in. She was a wonderful mama but at least for now seems to prefer to be the queen - and would likely be happiest as the only kitty in the home.<br/><br/>If you would like to meet this special Queen, she is being royally spoiled at Burton Chow Hound 2490 Burton St. SE, Grand Rapids. You can visit her from 9am to 9pm daily!<br/><br/>Queenie has been spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FIV and FeLV, and microchipped. She has an approximate birthdate of March 5, 2025 and her adoption fee is $95.<br/><br/>If you are interested in Queenie or any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, please go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.<br/><br/>Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.<br/><br/>Thank you!
