Qiana's Story

Meet Qiana!

Born around January 2025, Qiana’s early life was a tough one. We aren’t sure what she went through, but we can tell she is a survivor. She came to us as a stray with three newly born babies in November 2025. She was a very loving, nurturing momma to her babies. It was obvious from the start that she had been abused but still yearned for love and human touch. Her kittens have all found
wonderful homes, and now it’s Qiana’s turn to be loved for who she is.

Qiana is a beautiful orange girl. She is a very sensitive, cautious girl. Qiana is still learning that indoor life and human companionship can be safe. Around people, Qiana will purr while rubbing everyone’s legs. But becomes very cautious and vocal if you bend to pet her. When distracted with food, you are able to pet her from head to tail. It takes a bit for her to trust, but when she does, she will allow you to pick her up. She happily plays with her toys, lounges in her cat trees, and spends peaceful hours watching the world from the window.

Qiana isn’t a cat who will adjust overnight. She needs time, understanding, and someone who will celebrate small steps forward. With patience and a quiet home — ideally adult-only and no other animals — she has every chance to continue blossoming at her own pace.

If you have a calm, compassionate home and a soft spot for shy souls, Qiana may be the perfect match. She’s waiting for someone special who believes that every cat deserves the space to feel safe, seen, and loved.

--
Our adoption fee of $300 per cat includes spay/neuter and microchipping for all animals.

All have had a vet exam, are up to date on vaccinations, have been given a dewormer and treated for fleas and ear mites if needed. All cats are tested for FeLV/FIV at six months of age. If you are interested in meeting this cat, please fill out an application on our website!

https://www.therescuepack.org/cat-adoption-application

If interested in one of our animals, please fill out an application on our website. The application will then be reviewed by our applications team and passed on to the foster of the animal that was applied for. The foster will then review the application and, if deemed a good fit, will initiate a phone call with the applicant. If, after the phone call, both applicant and foster feel it is a good fit, a meeting with the animal will be scheduled. Once the meeting happens, and the approval from both foster and applicant are given to move forward - our adoptions team will send an electronic payment link to the adopter. Once payment has been received, our adoption contract will be sent along with vet records. The foster and the adopter will agree on an official adoption date - and the animal will now live happily ever after! If an applied for animal is no longer available, our team will assist in trying to find another good fit! If an application is not a good fit, the applicant will also be notified.
