Purr-l's Story

6 month old Purr-l is one of those cats that's EXTRA soft and she has the most unusual tail I have seen- it is long but has a 90 degree kink right in the middle. It looks like 2 sides to a square and when she gets all fuzzed up, it is the oddest sight!

Do not let her softness and daintiness fool you- this girl is FEISTY! She is fierce, funny and adventurous. When she holds still long enough for pets, she fiercely purrs but doesn't necessarily seek out a lap to sit on. She seems especially found of attacking bare legs under long skirts...(picture is one of the few she is still for and Grampa Cat will tolerate the closeness if it sleeps).

Purr-l is not part of a bonded pair either but she will need an energetic companion and lots of play opportunities. She is used to lots of things to 'hunt' and pounce including her 1 last litter mate, 2 Corgis who really don't want to play with needles, a Grampa cat who fiercely judges her foolishness, and any of the 6 total pairs of feet and legs of the resident humans.

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, microchipped, and with their initial age-appropriate vaccinations. Kittens have an adoption fee of $200 each or $300 for a bonded pair. Kittens must be adopted in pairs unless there is another young, energetic cat in the home. If you would like to apply to be a forever home for this cat, please fill out a statement of interest at www.alternativehumanesociety.com. Unless otherwise indicated, all our cats and kittens are best suited for indoor-only life.
