Pumpkin Patch is a sweet, reserved little lady looking for a calm, loving home. She was adopted as a kitten but was unfortunately returned through no fault of her own after discovering that living with large dogs was not for her. When she first came back into foster care, she was understandably nervous and spent much of her time hiding under the bed. Since then, she has blossomed into a confident, affectionate cat. She has even adjusted beautifully to a new foster home and meeting new people, proving that once she realized there weren't big, scary dogs around every corner, she could truly relax.<br/><br/>With the people she knows and trusts, Pumpkin Patch is incredibly loving. She adores attention and will happily roll around at your feet asking for pets. She enjoys cuddling, is comfortable being held, and has a gentle, affectionate personality. One of her favorite things in the world is catnip toys—she loves tossing them around and rolling on the floor while she plays.<br/><br/>Pumpkin Patch is quieter and more reserved than her brother, Scarecrow, but they make a wonderful pair. He is the confident leader, and she happily follows his example. Their personalities balance each other perfectly, making them an easy and rewarding duo to welcome into a home.<br/><br/>Although Pumpkin Patch could be happy as an only cat, she would especially love to be adopted alongside Scarecrow. At just 2 years old, they have all the fun and playfulness of young cats without the nonstop energy of kittens. They are both exceptionally friendly with people, enjoy affection, have excellent litter box habits, and reliably use scratching posts.<br/><br/>Pumpkin Patch's ideal home would be a quiet one without other animals. She becomes frightened when unfamiliar animals approach her and does not do well with dogs. They are spayed or neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, up to date on shots, microchipped, de-wormed, and on flea preventative. Our goal is to match our fosters with the best home possible. <br/><br/>The adoption fees for our felines are as follows: $150 for kittens (or 2 for $250); $100 for adult cats (or 2 for $170); and $75 each for our special seniors/FIV+ kitties.
