Pumpkin Patch - Athens, GA's Story
Pumpkin Patch is a reserved little lady. She was adopted out as a kitten to a house with large dogs and returned through no fault of her own. But she did not like the dogs. When she first came back, she was very nervous and shy and hid under the bed a lot. She has now gained her confidence back, and even moved foster homes and met new people and is no longer scared of anything. Once she learned there were not big scary dogs around every corner she felt a lot more comfortable. She is very attention-seeking with her people and loves to be pet and cuddle. She rolls around asking for pets and is fine with being held. She loves catnip toys and rolls around on the ground playing with them. She is nowhere near as outgoing and demanding as her brother Scarecrow but we think they complement each other very well. She lets him take the lead, then follows shortly after. Pumpkin Patch could be fine as a solo cat, but would love to be adopted with her brother, Scarecrow. Pumpkin and Scarecrow are the perfect turnkey duo of cats. They are still young at only 2 years old but they are past the crazy kitten era. They are very friendly to all people and love attention. They are also good in the house, they are top-notch litter box users and good about using scratching posts. The only downside is that they would thrive best as the only animals in the house. Pumpkin tends to get scared and lash out when unfamiliar animals approach her, and she does not like dogs. She is a great cat who would do well in a quiet home where she can continue to build confidence.

Adoption Application - http://fs17.formsite.com/cofas/catform/

All of our cats and kittens are fostered in homes so we know their personalities.
