Pumpkin Love's Story

**Meet Pumpkin Love!**

Pumpkin Love is a big, handsome orange tabby with the gentlest soul. This sweet boy was recently returned to our rescue along with his friend, Peter, due to a domestic violence situation in their home. Through no fault of his own, Pumpkin found himself starting over and looking for a new forever family.

When he first arrived at his foster home, Pumpkin was understandably a little spooked and unsure of his new surroundings. After about a week, he began to relax and let his wonderful personality shine. While he's still a bit shy at first, once he trusts you, he absolutely loves being held and showered with affection. One of his favorite things is spending quiet afternoon break time curled up with his foster mom.

Pumpkin has always been an indoor cat and is perfectly content living the indoor life. Although he's grown into a big boy, he still has a playful, kitten-like side and enjoys playing with toys and spending time with his feline friends. He gets along great with other cats and may also adjust well to a calm, cat-friendly dog with a proper introduction.

As a kitten, Pumpkin battled a severe eye infection that left him with a slight scar on his right eye. It doesn't bother him, doesn't require any special care, and only adds to his unique charm.

Pumpkin would thrive in a quieter home where he can settle in at his own pace. He's lived with teenagers and is comfortable with older children, but a home without very young or loud children would likely be the best fit for his gentle nature.

Pumpkin Love is exactly what his name suggests—a loving, kind-hearted cat who has so much affection to give. All he's looking for is a peaceful home where he can feel safe, loved, and cherished for the wonderful boy he is. He has overcome a lot in his life and is more than ready to find the forever family he truly deserves.

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
