Meet Pumpkin! This big beautiful boy is approximately 18 pounds of pure sweetness! He turns heads everywhere with his cute little Scottish Fold ears. This is not a Jackson Friends kitty. He was surrendered to rescue along with 3 other kitties in the home to another local rescue because their owner developed the same kind of dementia that Bruce Willis has and had to be placed in a nursing home. All four of the kitties were scheduled to travel to rescue partners North but this sweet boy tested positive for FIV so he wasn't able to go at this time. Cats with FIV can live long, happy, and perfectly normal lives - especially in loving indoor homes. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, not through casual contact so he can safely live with other friendly kitties. It is not transferred through sharing food/water bowls or litter boxes. He has a calm and geltle presence and carries himself like the dignified gentleman he is. Please share to help this guy find a home.
